Stand with your bare feet on the Earth and look up at the sky. Breathe in that gloriousness that nature provides us every single day. Isn’t it wonderful? Isn’t it magikal? Isn’t it simply divine?
The world is a tumultuous place. Society’s reliance on governments, institutions, organisations – however positive some of it may be – has left us vulnerable. We have forgotten how to take care of ourselves. Humans are such resilient creatures. We can handle a lot. We can also do a lot for ourselves.
If we have all the food and shelter we need (and I am all-too-aware that many do not) what is left but to enjoy it? Create tantalising food. Put on some music and dance wildly. Build sculptures for birds to bathe in. Stretch and run and jump and play in our own bodies. Read and write and sing and create the joy that we were made to experience every single day of our lives. And when we are overflowing with the bliss of life, let’s gift it to others. Bake cookies to share. Give a few rolls of loo paper to those who’ve missed out.
And then… once more… ground yourself. Get those feet planted firmly in the Earth, look up the sky and breathe her in. Mother Nature is here for us.
Enjoy…
