At any given time I have about eleventy billion ideas running through my head.
Some are not that great. Most are amazing. The flow of ideas Just Doesn’t Stop! And my mad creative output is pretty wild.
But sometimes – just sometimes – I want to turn off that creative flow and just BE.
Sometimes I want these mad crazy ideas to leave me alone. Just for a little while.
The only way for me to do this is to create the space to breathe.
By creating space to breathe, I am also creating space for MORE creativity.
By creating space to breathe, I am creating space for DIFFERENT creative ideas to come through – NEW things that I didn’t even know EXISTED!
Sometimes, when I create space to simply BE, I muck around on the piano.
I’m pretty crap at piano.
The concept of playing 2 notes simultaneously is difficult enough to grasp, but if you use your 10 fingers at once, can you IMAGINE the cacophony of sound that is possible? Not to mention the mental task of getting your 10 fingers to move and intertwine and turn this chaos into something beautiful – well that’s just CRAZY!
