A moment of calm.
One more breath if you have time, and you do – have the time and the breath.
Usually I would ask myself what I most need to know, but there is nothing I need to know in this moment.
In this moment, the question is: What do I most need right now?
And my answer, right now: Calm. Stillness.
Why? To release. Release the tension, the pressure, the trying to be normal, the trying to do normal things, the doing normal things, the pressure to be someone else who does something else in some other world.
And what else? To remember. Remember who you are, why you are here, and that who you are and why you are here is ok, and that you have permission to be who you are, and that YES, you are free to be you.
You are free.
Breathe out all that you need to release, and breathe in your freedom.
After doing this for a while, you may realise that you’ve breathed out all that you need to release, and now you can breathe in your freedom and out your freedom so that your freedom is freely circulated in and around you and that you and your freedom become one.
Beautiful, you can do this whenever you need to. And you can do this when you don’t need to. It’s both a cure and preventative measure for symptoms of being a freethinker in a conventional world.
Take this self care seriously. For your mind, your body, and your soul.
