How I learnt to read chakras

Anna Shelley - Aligning your mind with your soulI’m going to share how I learnt to read chakras.

First up: I read them clairvoyantly. That is, I see them in my mind’s eye.

I know a lot of people use oracle cards to do chakra readings, but I don’t really relate to that. I actually think it’s better to go ALL IN on your intuition, rather than rely on outside sources….

OK so up until early last year, I wasn’t completely up with chakras. I knew they were those pretty colourful circles on those pretty yoga images, but that’s all I knew.

I didn’t understand the concept of energy work. I didn’t fully believe in it, even though I’d received ridiculously effective reiki in past ….

Anyway…. I can’t even remember what triggered it exactly. But I think it was a culmination of my study of the nerves in relation to referred nerve pain. I could make my own and my clients aches and pains go away by simply tracing it all back to the relevant nerve origins in the spine and releasing the pain by freeing up, or mobilising the spine in the particular area of interest.

At some point I was reading up on chakras, and I noticed the correlation between the information there and what I knew about referred nerve pain. Basically, it all seemed to be the same, except one concept was evidence based in conventional science, and the other concept seemed very wishy washy to me, yet explained the same things.

So one day I decided to tune into someone I was coaching. He knew I was just experimenting with this stuff. He asked where in he body he didn’t feel right. I felt a sinking feeling in the throat and tummy. He confirmed it to be true. Then later I googled the throat and solar plexus chakra, and forwarded him the info. He confirmed even more stuff about it!

So now I could feel chakras, but I still couldn’t remember what they all meant, and I couldn’t even remember the colours!

I read up about the chakras, but found all the information confusing. It’s so wishy washy – NOT at all like reading up where nerves are in the body, which is incredibly straight forward and logical.

I just couldn’t relate to, or retain the information, so I decided to just memorise the colours. (I never learnt any of those rainbow colour songs as a kid!)

So….. the next stage in my practice was to visualise the colours of people’s chakras AS WELL as feel them.

I found I could do this really well!

I could actually see their chakras in my mind’s eye!

The colours would be strong or dull. They’d be big or small. Sometimes they’re dusty. Sometimes they flash. Sometimes they have rings around them.

And instead of relying on books or Google to tell me what it all meant, I simply ASKED.

Sometimes when I ask, the chakra might have a little post it note attached as a friendly reminder for the person.

Now I find it so natural and easy to read chakras.

Sometimes I just see them without even trying. But of course if I want to get specific then I need to tune in properly.

Can I read your mind?

No. (Although I think I used to do that in a past life.)

I don’t read chakras without permission. That would be a bit like walking into someone’s house when they’re not home and helping yourself to the fridge. I wouldn’t want to anyway, because it does take a certain about of energy to tune in and get specific.

So anyway….. that’s how I came to clairvoyantly read chakras.

I DECIDED to do it. Then I did it.

Very simple 😀

Inspired by Pythagoras' concept of the musica universalis or music of the spheres - the harmony of the cosmos - this piece is not the sound of the spheres, but rather a gift From the Spheres. Get it here.
