The most painful story that you’re telling yourself is that you’re not good enough, and you’re a failure.
At what? At whatever you are thinking about and therefore applying it to at the time.
So this could be work, parenting, happiness, health, relationships – LIFE ITSELF!
And THIS is the source of any and all depression.
When you feel like everyone is pecking at you, that the silence in your head is deafening, that you just can’t figure out wtf is wrong with you, and WHY can’t you just be NORMAL, because normal = happy, but you’re just not normal, never will be, and couldn’t bare the mundanity of it anyway, but why oh WHY are you like this???
Well… you just need to follow your soul.
Remember who you are.
KNOW that when you are depressed, you are being suppressed, and when you stop suppressing your soul, you release yourself from the burden of the world, as you set your mind free and live through our heart.
So back to your most painful story…
Yes, you have painful physical memories scattered throughout your life, and Yes, the undoubted impact of these things on your physical shell are there, but the one true wound that all humans have, is the pain of not being good enough.
For ignoring the distractions of the mind and not always following soul guidance.
So… all you can do is your best.
And when your best isn’t good enough, all you can do is be you – because however you are, you are of the same star dust of the cosmos, and if that is good enough for the cosmos, then that is good enough for you, and the rest of us.
It’s funny, for many years I thought my style of music was not good enough. I come from a rather high brow classically trained background, so I thought it was a waste of technical skill, education, and expensive instruments to play the kind of music I do. But that’s just my ego being the Judgy McJudge it can be.
All I can do is be me, and remember that I am of the cosmos, like you, and everyone else. We all have magic, and it’s all perfect 🙂
