Something that I think we all get stuck in every now and then, is that we are always looking outside of ourselves for answers.
Not only are we looking externally for answers, but we are also looking externally for the change to happen.
There’s a famous quote attributed to Ghandi: Be the change you wish to see in the world.
If we can be who we really wish to be – better still, if we can be who we already are on the inside – then we can see the change in the world.
The thing is, if we tune into ourselves, we can see ourselves at our core. And at our core, we are limitless magical beings. One could say we are GOD. We are THE GOD. THE GODDESS. The creators of life itself.
And once we know ourselves as GOD, we are limitless in our power.
If you are like me and get a little hung up on the GOD word, remember – this is not religion. This is not dogma. This is us as a part of the universe, as a collection of particles in the cosmos, a collective of the sum of all that is.
In my view it is not about personifying a god, and putting an external figure on a pedestal above ourselves. It is about seeing ourselves as the GOD(DESS) we are. This is powerful powerful stuff.
And of course, once we see ourselves as GOD, we can have a good ol’ chit chat and bring forth these awesome qualities into our every day lives. This is how we live and breathe as pure source energy right here on Earth.
Special mention goes to Ricci-Jane Adams from The Institute of Intuitive Intelligence, who talks, teaches, and writes, about this often enough that it got into my head and onto a meditation I needed to create for myself. I decided I needed to share it with you too.
You may wish to go into this meditation with a set intention, and allow some extra time for journaling afterwards.
