Close your eyes. (OK, maybe read this first, then close your eyes.)
Take a big breath.
Trace a line from the middle of your forehead down through your belly button to in between your feet.
This is your midline. Your centre. Your home.
(You can open your eyes now).
Whenever you feel off balance, out of kilter, or a bit frazzled, do this.
It brings awareness to your body – the home of your soul.
It brings you back to You.
It dismisses outside influences.
Which brings your attention inwards.
It calms the mind – de-scatters it.
And brings you back home.
When you do this, it would be a perfect time to begin meditation, reflection, and/or gaining clarity when you’re feeling overwhelmed.
