There’s something very important I need you to know.
And that is…
You are MAGICAL.
Let that sink in for a bit.
A creative force.
How do I know this?
Well, for starters, it’s true 😉
But I’ll tell you what I did this morning, and you can do it too, to help you believe in your own magic.
So this morning I woke up with a really sore back. Nothing unusual there – I co-sleep with my son, and I was awake for a few hours while he wriggled and wriggled trying to get comfy, while I was in an uncomfortable position allowing him to wriggle.
Finally he managed to get comfy at around 5am and we got a proper sleep in.
But of course by the time he jumped out of bed at 7:30, I had been lying down for so long that my back was aching.
So hubby got up with the kiddo, and I lay there for a while. It felt SO luxurious to be able to do that. I can’t even REMEMBER the last time I stayed in bed by myself.
I decided it’d be a good opportunity to do a little meditation and set my intentions for the day.
But my back was too sore to relax.
So I sat up on the edge of the bed and closed my eyes.
I was going to set my intentions, but I realised that I already had everything I wanted – peace, high vibes, a little moment with my thoughts. Isn’t that cool that I already had everything?
So I decided to meditate.
But again, I already felt completely at peace.
And then this came to me:
As I took a few deep breaths, I visualised breathing in colourful rainbow light. There was no negative energy to breathe out, so I also exhaled rainbow light.
The magical rainbow light was circulating in and out with my breath. And as it charged me up, I also charged up my environment. It was like a magical exchange of energy.
And it was a lovely reminder that I am magical. I create my reality as I wish.
And so I want you to also remember that you are magical too. You are creating your reality right now. So please – Work your magic and create your reality on YOUR terms 🙂
BTW I only took about 4 breaths of this magical rainbow light.
It was ALMOST my shortest meditation ever.
